Department of Dermatology was established in 1955. Dr. Young-Rok Cha was the first professor. Since 1961, 44 masters, 17 PhDs, and 66 dermatologists were produced. As a result, 12 alumni of department of dermatology have advanced to be professors at other universities.

Our department have provided many activities governing diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases, education of medical students and residents, and research in dermatologic science. We supports the Medical School’s educational mission through lectures and clerkship programs. We also provide special clinics such as phototherapy, atopic dermatitis, vesicobullous disease, cutaneous infectious diseases, cryotherapy, laser therapy, acne clinic, esthetic clinic.
